Again, if you win this one, you can follow up with a parry to try and break his stun gauge.Īfter an opening combo, Dagan will summon his clones once again. Once Dagan is down to the final quarter of his health, you’ll enter another block sequence. Play defensively, conserve you Stims, and try to focus on breaking his stun gauge. Otherwise, Dagan will use his same suite of attacks. These will knock you down, so instead of trying to block or shoot them back, strafe to avoid the orbs as they fly at you. If you can parry the attack on the way up, you’ll stun him out of the attack, allowing you make a follow-up.įinally, Dagan will summon a string of orbs and shoot them at you. This one, unlike Dagan’s other jump attack, is blockable. If you can jump and avoid this attack, you can deal damage to Dagan while he’s still crouched.Īnother new attack is when Dagan will jump into the area and land with a damaging shield. He’ll build up energy after the clones are down and slam on the ground, sending a shockwave out. Once they’re stun gauge is broken, a single swipe will defeat the clone.ĭagan has a new attack here. They don’t have any health, just a stun gauge. The clones will attack you at the same time, but the real Dagan Gera won’t initially. He’ll follow up immediately with an attack, but if you can parry them, you can break his gauge and get in damage right away and push him into the third phase.ĭagan will fill the room with an iridescent film and split into three parts. If you win this block, you’ll actually deal some damage to Dagan’s stun gauge. ![]() Once Dagan is close to half health, you’ll go into a quicktime event where he’ll block your attack. You don’t have Bode for the combo attack, but stunning Dagan is still the best option to damage him. ![]() Don’t overcommit to a combo, instead trying to slowly work on Dagan’s stun gauge. In its place, use your Force Push when Dagan is at a distance, and attack when your Crossguard stance when the boss is up close. This was one of the better windows to get in damage in the previous fights, but you’ll need to work around it in this one. One important difference compared to previous battles is that Dagan has a shield when he does his unblockable slam attack. The biggest thing is that you can’t deal massive damage with Bode’s combo attack. Once again, Dagan doesn’t have any new attacks during this phase. Remember that cutscenes don’t count as checkpoint, so if you die during the fight here, you’ll have to start from the beginning. The goal during the first phase is to play defensively, though, using the combo ability with Bode when you can and trying to conserve as many Stims as you can for later in the fight.Īfter a quarter of Dagan’s health is gone, a cutscene will trigger and Bode will leave you. This won’t stun Dagan completely, but it will deal some damage to his stun gauge and allow you a brief window to get in damage. This deals around a tenth of the boss’ health, and it’s easily the best way to damage the boss during the first phase. If you break Dagan’s stun gauge, you can trigger a combo attack with Bode by attack the boss again. There’s a slight difference this time around, though, and that comes in the form of a combo attack between Cal and bode.
